Founded in 1939 as a family owned and operated foundry, Bremen Castings is now in its 4th generation. With over 70 years of experience, BCI is known worldwide for its quality gray and ductile iron machined castings. As a leader in the machining & foundry industry, Bremenhouses its own machine shop & foundry. Keeping up with technology is high on the priority list with the Brown family as the company continually reinvests in new equipment for production, environmental, and automation improvements. This, along with BCI's past and present leadership and the commitment from their employees, is why they have grown and surpassed all expectations of the original founding fathers.

Jim Brown, JB Brown and Ted Nugent share a passion for hunting, firearms and the preservation of the 2nd amendment. The Browns hunt, shoot and share campfires with Ted regularly in Texas and Michigan. Jim also shoots photography for Ted to record the spiritual campfires that Ted hosts throughout the year around the world.

SQS (Status Quo Sucks) was created by the BCI Lean Team in late November of 2007.

BCI's team needed to distinguish themselves from all others. The lean team has pushed this title of the group on down to let everyone know that status quo does suck! BCI now uses this term daily in our work lives.

In 2008 BCI created it's own coffee blend and now offers three different blends: SQS (Bold), FeMan (Regular) and Speeds and Feeds (Hazelnut). If you are interested in purchasing this coffee please contact BCI @ 800-837-2411.

In 1996 BCI launched it's own internal machine shop with the new addition of a 15,000 sq foot facility to the existing foundry with the expectations to diversify across many markets. This forced quality and engineering to grow to be diverse in both machining and foundry. This gives BCI the advantage for both departments to communicate before product launch for lower fixture cost.

BCI also purchased it's first few CNC machines in 1996 and now has over 13 CNC machines in it's arsenal.
